Okay first off..I can definitely take this image myself......The closeup of her face is not flattering and this picture isn't well executed and you didn't edit it well either. Needless to say I have wandered through your archive and seriously.....i dont get it.
Adetokunbo Adesanya: Thx Cathy... Whew... you are harsher than Suby
I think Cathy's comments are harsh. I like the fact that you are trying different things Ade. some will work and some won't. Like me, I'm sure you look at other people's pictures and learn from them. Keep on doing what you are doing my friend.
Adetokunbo Adesanya: Thx Bill for the encouragement
Bill responded perfectly, and I agree wholeheartedly, my friend.
Your creativity, willingness and ability to try new things, and your enthusiasm keep me coming back, never change
Adetokunbo Adesanya: Thx Paul
Agree with Cathy 100% (but you already knew that). SO we assume Cathy is not a budding photographer and someone who just plays with her camera when the kids or family is around, if she says she can take this, shows the level and growth of your photography.
This image looks like she is in pain. Keep doing what you are doing, experiment, try new ideas, but the aim for you is for your photography to improve, to get better. NOT HAPPENING with these sort of images. BORED.
Adetokunbo Adesanya:
I kind of agree in part with all 4 previous comments, as one set serves as a kick up the back side, and the other as a source of support and encouragement. It takes a big person to publish work of any medium into the public domain, cause once it’s out there it will draw comments and remarks, on its merits, demerits or people just looking to have a pop for no reason what so ever. The trick is usually been able to read between the lines and using those comments as a spring board to improve and be better at what we do. You will never be able to please every body, even if you posted an image that was perfect in every aspect. “Photography is a subjective medium, so one man’s meat is another woman’s poison.”
We do what we do for the love of the medium, and learn something new every time we pick up a camera, magazine, blog or whatever. And this applies to all the great Fotographers of the past and present. With your enthusiasm and genuine love for the medium, mark my word, you will look back on these comments in the near future and have a laugh
Adetokunbo Adesanya: Yeah, you are right Fotografa... thanx for the tip and encouragement
One point is that your picture is not leaving anybody indifferent! I like what you're doing Ade, keep on doing it!
Adetokunbo Adesanya: Thank you very much Mt. Rich
